This grant will support the National Summer Learning Association in its efforts to improve the quality, expand the access, and increase the demand for summer learning programs across the country. The grantee will: 1) capture, analyze, and disseminate data, best practices, and outcomes from recent investments in summer learning programs, particularly 21st Century Community Learning Centers; and 2) provide technical assistance to help state and district leaders, statewide afterschool networks, and other stakeholders use summer learning opportunities to support more students in being career ready from high school and graduating from college.
