This grant increase provides support for key initiatives at Kettering University, an anchor institution of higher education in the Flint community. In 2012, under the leadership of a new president, the university will focus its strategic attention on increasing enrollment, launching a branding and marketing campaign, contributing to the economic revitalization of Flint and the region, and increasing alumni support and participation.
