This grant provides general purpose support for the organization Derecho Ambiente y Recursos Naturales, which works to monitor energy and infrastructure policies and projects and their impacts on the environment in Peru. The grantee also provides legal and technical assistance to indigenous communities and nongovernmental organizations and networks, so they can promote more environmentally and socially sustainable practices for energy development in Peru and across the Amazon basin.
