This renewal grant provides partial support to the Center for Community Progress to further its mission of combating the negative effects of property vacancy and abandonment in post-industrial urban areas. Headquartered in Flint and with offices in Washington, D.C., the grantee addresses these issues at the federal, state, and local levels through a combination of research, policy reform and advocacy, technical assistance and capacity building, and communications programs.
