LearnPhilanthropy is a collaborative initiative to build an online, fieldwide hub for grantmaker learning. The project is being developed by a network of grantmakers and philanthropy support professionals so that the philanthropic infrastructure can more efficiently and effectively serve the field. Incubated by the Council on Foundations and the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers, LearnPhilanthropy has 28 content partners consisting of a wide variety of philanthropic support organizations. This grant will enable LearnPhilanthropy to continue to develop and refine its content, community, web portal, and business model throughout a critical year in which this collaborative and fieldwide initiative is first transitioning to a more permanent structure and governance, and then scaling up to meet field demand. The Council on Foundations is a membership association of more than 1,700 independent, operating, community, public, and company-sponsored foundations, and corporate giving programs in the United States and abroad.
