This grant to Tides Canada Initiatives will support the Halifax Initiative project, which focuses on promoting greater accountability and enhanced transparency of World Bank lending. The Halifax Initiative project conducts policy analysis and outreach to the public and policymakers; monitors international financial institutions' projects; and advocates for policy reform. This grant increase will support a strategic planning review of the Halifax Initiative and assist with the development of a new funding strategy for the project.
