Pitseng Trust

Pitseng Trust is a dedicated woman's fund that supports local women's organizations in disadvantaged communities across South Africa. It supports organizations that work on income-generation projects through grantmaking, providing training and support, and creating opportunities for the women to learn from each other. Over the past two years, the grantee supported a number of projects that are now receiving support and recognition from government and local businesses. The grantee also hosted a number of women's dialogues in different provinces as part of its monitoring and evaluation process. This grant will support the grantee to review its role as a grantmaker and develop new approaches to its work. The grantee will continue to provide technical support to local groups for their growth and development.
