This grant increase will support Collaborative Communications Group to continue to grow their work with the Expanded Learning and Afterschool Project and reach out to the remaining nine non-network states to foster additional statewide afterschool networks. The grantee will work with organizations in these nine states to bring representatives to the 2013 Statewide Afterschool National Network annual meeting. Organization representatives will participate in discussions and work sessions on issues most critical to building an afterschool network, focusing on partnerships, sustainability, and quality. The inclusion of all 50 states will strengthen the Statewide Afterschool Network and the Expanded Learning and Afterschool Project.
