The program goal is to engage citizens and international partners in a constructive dialogue on the issues that shape Europe's global future. Through this program, the Madariaga College of Europe Foundation has successfully contributed to bridging the gap between European civil society actors and European Union decisionmakers. This has been achieved through convening regular workshops and roundtables and publishing numerous books, reports, and articles on issues facing Europe. In 2013, the grantee will focus on raising awareness and suggesting policy options on the Eurozone crisis and governance, multilateralism and the role of the United States, and European Union-China relations. Established in 1998, the Madariaga College of Europe Foundation is an independent operating foundation dedicated to promoting original thinking on the role of the European Union in an era of global change.
