This grant will enable the Innovation and Entrepreneurship team of the Prima Civitas Foundation to design and pilot a series of programs to advance and showcase entrepreneurial culture and best practices within four sectors of the entrepreneurship ecosystem: K-12 school systems, community colleges, international and immigrant entrepreneurs, and new and emerging industries. This project represents a new phase in the work of the Moving Ideas to Market initiative, which has spent the past six years building the capacity of economic and workforce development service providers to support entrepreneurial activity. The next phase will emphasize identifying, demonstrating, and disseminating best practices in entrepreneurship education and supportive services, with the intention of spurring replication projects across the state.
