2007 Annual Report: Reaffirming Mott’s commitment to communities


People create communities of all sorts – geographic, intellectual and spiritual -- that have the potential to improve lives, address local problems or change how things are done, notes Mott Foundation CEO William S. White in his 2007 annual message. The following five stories -– featuring, among others, an environmental “friends” group, an information network of Ukrainian school administrators, and adult students seeking to restart their careers -– illustrate Mott’s deep and continuing commitment to the power of individuals linked by a common desire for change.
