Spotlight: Staffing model puts employment services to work
A trio of reports suggests that an alternative model of temporary staffing programs — one that provides employers and low-income workers with careful job matching and support services — not only helps workers obtain jobs, but also offers them important pathways to gaining the skills that employers are looking for.
The reports, produced by the Center for Social Policy at the University of Massachusetts-Boston, explore findings from the Mott-funded Alternative Staffing Demonstration.
