The Southeastern Rivers and Streams Support Fund of the World Wildlife Fund, a global conservation organization, builds the capacity of freshwater conservation organizations in the southeastern U.S. by providing small grants and related technical assistance. This grant increase, and associated grant period extension, will enable the World Wildlife Fund to continue to provide such small grants while also working to recruit new donors to underwrite the small grants program.

The Alliance for Justice works to strengthen the voice of the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors in important public policy debates by giving tax-exempt organizations a better understanding of the laws that govern their participation in the policy process. The purpose of this project is to develop a guide on assessing and evaluating community organizing. This grant increase will support that project and the organization's effort to promote the guide's usage.

This grant increase will provide funds to the National Organization on Disability to help the U.S. Army expand the AW2 (America's Wounded Warriors) Careers Project from three to twelve sites. The AW2 Careers Project is an employment and life skills strategy for the 5,700 severely injured and wounded soldiers and veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
