Atwood Stadium has been a hub of community life in Flint since 1929. This grant to the Community Foundation of Greater Flint will partially support the refurbishment of the west-end seating and the deteriorated concrete sections in the former box seating areas at Atwood Stadium. This grant is intended to build upon the grassroots fundraising efforts of the Atwood Stadium Authority. Approximately $300,000 in additional funding is needed to complete the renovation.
