This grant will provide partial support to Lansing Community College for the High School Diploma Completion Initiative. The High School Diploma Completion Initiative is an effort between Lansing Community College and three area intermediate school districts to provide students who have dropped out of school with an opportunity to earn a diploma and receive career and technical education training. Under the High School Diploma Completion Initiative, high school dropouts from partnering intermediate districts will complete their graduation requirements while simultaneously earning credits toward an associate's degree and/or various occupational certificate programs.
