Community Partners was established in 1992 to meet a growing need for management and capacity-building services by civic and social entrepreneurs to strengthen their work. During this grant period, the Funders Network on Trade and Globalization project will assist funders to develop a shared strategic understanding of funding challenges and opportunities in critical areas, and promote strategic and collaborative grantmaking around a specific issue or initiative. The project will focus on developing tools and gathering data to assist funders in understanding key global economic institutions and the possible leverage points for influencing these institutions to make their functions more transparent, democratic, and accountable.
