The Center for Community Change was founded in 1968 and has been a Mott Foundation grantee since 1976. The grantee provides consultation, training, research, and technical assistance to help local residents develop the capacity to participate effectively in shaping the policy decisions that affect their families and communities. The organization's 40th Anniversary Challenge Campaign is designed to raise $15 million to support a venture fund for new opportunities, leadership development, and institutional support.
