This grant increase will enable the National School Boards Association to further build the capacity of school board leaders to advance high quality afterschool programs by building awareness through meetings and informational documents. The grantee is working to advance school leadership and policy development in support of afterschool opportunities for all students by examining how students are educated and developing strategic plans with various stakeholders at the local, state, and national levels to create seamless learning opportunities based on the needs of their respective districts and communities.
