Wyoming Statewide Afterschool Network

This grant will continue to support the Wyoming Community Foundation in the advancement of the Wyoming Statewide Afterschool Network. This grantee is part of the sixth cohort of Mott-funded, statewide afterschool networks. In addition to continuing its core work building the field of afterschool, the Wyoming Statewide Afterschool Network will: focus on designing a statewide longitudinal research and needs assessment to determine the effectiveness of afterschool programs in the state; continue to ensure that policies related to afterschool are utilized more strategically; and ultimately create a comprehensive policy recommendation for a high quality professional development system of standards and curriculum for the afterschool workforce focused on student outcomes through more efficient use of state and federal funding. Lessons learned and products will be shared with the national network of statewide afterschool networks.
