This renewal grant will enable Jobs for the Future, in partnership with the National Council on Workforce Education, to implement a high poverty area initiative to build and strengthen postsecondary pathways for low-skilled adults in the Lower Rio Grande Valley in Texas. Both a healthcare and green construction sectoral initiative will be developed at South Texas College for low-skilled adults, including adults in the region with low literacy skills in Spanish.
