Grant Period: 9/1/2011 to 8/31/2013
Program: Pathways Out of Poverty

This grant will support the American Youth Work Center to move its "Youth Today" print publication toward a modern, online digital media product that will expand readership and increase subscriptions. Since 1992, the grantee has published "Youth Today", a nationally distributed newspaper aimed at practitioners in the youth service field. "Youth Today" provides independent coverage of promising practices, issues, trends, research, and policies that shapes the services to youth, with special emphasis on disadvantaged youth. Specifically, the grantee will: 1) enhance the "Youth Today" Web site design and functionality to help subscribers better navigate the expanding archive of information; and 2) launch a marketing campaign to promote "Youth Today" more broadly and increase paid subscriptions in the next two years.
