Impact of Program and Practice Characteristics on Participant Outcomes

This grant increase will enable the University of California - Irvine to update, finalize, and release study findings on the impact of afterschool and expanded learning opportunities on academic and social outcomes. Specifically, this will include the implementation of a dissemination strategy to: 1) produce and release research briefs; 2) present at scholarly meetings including the annual meeting of the American Educational Research Association; 3) present to afterschool and expanded learning stakeholders; and 4) publish the findings in scholarly journals. The dissemination of these results will help to inform decisionmaking and to educate policymakers, educators, and the public.
