This grant will provide continued support to Lansing Community College for its High School Diploma Completion Initiative. The initiative provides students who have dropped out of high school between the ages of 16 and 19 with a chance to earn a diploma and credits toward an associate's degree and/or occupational certificate. Recommended support will enable the grantee to strengthen and enhance this blended high school-to-college model that comprehensively integrates education, career, and employment opportunities for dropouts and students who are at risk of dropping out of high school and need a different educational experience.
