This grant will support FrameWorks Institute, a nonprofit think tank that creates communications strategies to impact social problems, conduct research, and develop a communications strategy aimed at impacting the public's perception of education and expanded learning time. The project is also being supported by a funding collaborative that includes the Nellie Mae Education Foundation, the Ford Foundation, the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, and the NoVo Foundation. In addition to conducting communications research that will support afterschool programs, this project will support the Foundation in building relationships with other funders who are making significant investments in education, expanded learning time, and school reform.
