Debbie Bullen joined the Foundation as an accounting assistant in 1990 and took over the management of Mott’s historic, 16-story office building in 1994. “I was thrilled, and very humbled, to be given the opportunity to oversee and assist with a number of major renovations throughout the building during the 1990s,” she said of the restoration activities undertaken to preserve the building’s original architectural integrity. A graduate of the University of Michigan-Flint, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1990 while working as a customer service representative for Farm Bureau Insurance. Bullen also received a Master of Business Administration from the university in 1994. A recreational horseback rider, she also designs and makes jewelry and writes poetry.
