A Flint-area native, Erin Best is an administrative assistant for the Foundation’s Education program. Prior to joining Mott, she worked primarily in the field of human resources in Ann Arbor and Frankenmuth, Michigan. A competitive runner, her favorite race will always be The Crim in Flint. Now a Crim Ambassador, she’s been a race volunteer since she was 7 years old. She started running at the age of 12, she says, “and just never stopped.” Over the next few years, her goal is to gain a spot in the New York City and Boston marathons. She’s passed on her love of running to her daughter, who recently competed in her first 10-mile race. The family’s four cats and dog are less energetic, preferring to spend most of their time lounging indoors.
