Jared Maurer

About

As a senior grants accountant at the Mott Foundation, Jared Maurer helps to ensure that grant recommendations comply with all legal and financial laws and procedures. After earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting at Michigan State University, he cut his professional data-crunching teeth in the private sector, including as a senior financial statement auditor with Plante Moran. In transitioning to a career in philanthropy, this certified public accountant is both inspired and excited to help make good things happen in Mott’s hometown of Flint and around the world.

A native of Frankenmuth, Michigan, Maurer enjoys hiking, boxing, jiu jitsu and, most of all, spending time with his wife and young daughter.
