Jeff Alexander

Jeff Alexander is a California native who went to college in Michigan to chase his dream of becoming a professional hockey player, but instead became a journalist and author. A graduate of Michigan State University, Alexander was a newspaper reporter and editor for 25 years. He spent much of that time writing about the Great Lakes and other environmental issues. He also wrote two award-winning books about water issues in the Great Lakes region. Prior to joining Mott, he also worked as a freelance writer, a media consultant for environmental organizations and a marketing editor at a law firm. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, hiking and kayaking.
