user acquisition and engagement lead
Katie Curnow is a lifelong Michigander. She has lived in various communities across the state, in both the fingertips and palm of the Mitten.
Katie graduated from the University of Michigan-Flint with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English language and literature. A former education major, she imagined a life as a secondary education teacher (English, theater and social sciences), but changed paths shortly after college when she joined a marketing agency as a copywriter. Now, as the user acquisition and engagement lead for Mizzen by Mott, she can bring together her passions for education and marketing.
Prior to joining the Mizzen by Mott team, Katie served as the director of communications and advocacy for The Disability Network, a Flint-based center for independent living. Katie also has served in marketing roles at both the Flint & Genesee Chamber of Commerce and the University of Michigan-Flint.
Katie is dedicated to connecting people to technologies and resources that improve their lives and work. She brings a user-centered and data-infused approach to digital and content marketing.
