Kyle Swank

About

Kyle Swank is the data and systems manager for Mizzen by Mott, an app that delivers high-quality content to the afterschool field. In this role, he works to ensure that Mizzen is an easy-to-use, high-quality resource for out-of-school-time practitioners, content partners and staff. Swank also identifies and coordinates product improvements based on input from the Mizzen user community and analytics.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Swank held a variety of technical roles in software engineering, application security and user privacy. Throughout his career, he has advocated for service quality and user safety, security and privacy.

A Michigan native, Swank grew up in Genesee County, where he graduated from the University of Michigan-Flint with a Bachelor of Arts in English. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, learning, playing guitar and restoring classic cars.
