Building Administrative / Accounting Assistant
Although she never planned on a career in property management, Lynne Mortellaro has worked in the field most of her professional life. She graduated from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and was employed by a property management company for 27 years as an office manager/accountant before joining the Mott Foundation in 2014. A Michigan native, she is married with two children. The best thing about her position as a building administrative/accounting assistant, she says, is that she has the chance to get away from her desk and check on housekeeping, manage the building’s conference center, and interact with tenants and security staff. Mortellaro and her husband are avid travelers, with a bucket list of destinations they plan to visit.
