About
Valerie Robertson is a Flint-area native and a graduate of the University of Michigan-Flint. She joined the Foundation in 2022 as a human resources coordinator. Prior to joining Mott, Robertson was a human resource director in the health care field, where she enjoyed managing the employee life cycle. Robertson loves being part of Mott’s Human Resources team due to its ambition in seeking new ways of creating a more positive workplace culture.
Outside of her HR profession, Robertson is a licensed cosmetologist. She likes to express her creative side while enhancing her clients’ beauty. Robertson has a teenage daughter and two fur babies, Riley and Sky. She appreciates spending time with family and friends, attending concerts, movies and traveling. Her motto: Live, love, laugh!
