About this grant

River Network is a national organization that provides training to advance organization effectiveness, and to sharpen skills and capacity to address issues like access to clean, safe, and affordable drinking water. With previous support from the Mott Foundation, River Network has developed a Drinking Water Guide, and a Water and Equity Peer Learning Cohort that provides a solid foundation to address challenges—including aging infrastructure; funding shortages; legacy pollution; and a robust regulatory framework. Renewed support will enable the grantee to build on these resources to support new organizations as they confront new challenges. They will provide training to build the capacity of Great Lakes groups around drinking water issues; provide consulting; training and mentoring around organizational effectiveness; and support robust participation at River Rally, a leading national conference.
