About this grant
The Southern Environmental Law Center works to protect and restore water quality throughout much of the Southeast. In recent years, the center and partner organizations have had particular success improving state-level stormwater pollution controls in Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina. With continued Mott support, the center will work with its partners to improve implementation of the Clean Water Act and related programs, with a focus on measures that address stormwater pollution and wetlands conservation in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, and the Carolinas.
