About this grant
This grant will enable the center to focus on increasing meaningful participation of young people in decisionmaking at the school and community levels; provide a space for young people from Bosnia’s main ethnic communities to work together on concrete initiatives to improve their society; broaden the impact of its successful programs; and cooperate with similar groups in the former Yugoslavia.The Youth Communication Center – Banja Luka, founded in 1997, promotes tolerance and understanding among youth throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina; advocates for systemic change in the country’s educational system; provides training and mentoring to youth initiatives; and participates in a wide variety of in-country and regional peace-building initiatives.
