About this grant
The Institute for Policy Studies works in collaboration with non-governmental organizations, academics, parliamentarians and other stakeholders to promote financing for sustainable energy and to develop alternative proposals for the future of the global economy based on environmental sustainability, democracy and economic fairness. This grant increase will support an inter-regional seminar of parliamentarians from Latin America and Europe and non-governmental organizations and other representatives of civil society. The goal of the seminar is to educate parliamentarians about the Inter-American Development Bank and identify specific opportunities to expand parliamentarian participation in and oversight of Inter-American Development Bank policies and projects in their countries.
