About this grant

Louisiana Interfaith Together is a statewide organizing project of PICO National Network consisting of local organizations in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Houma-Thibodaux-Raceland, New Iberia, and Lafayette, as well as a parishwide organization in Pointe Coupee. Louisiana Interfaith Together works on a variety of issues of concern to residents with an emphasis on education and housing. Previous grants supported statewide education organizing and the response to Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. This grant will provide continued support for work to improve public education, promote affordable housing, and rebuild communities affected by the hurricanes of 2005 and additional storms since that time.
