Integrating Afterschool and School-Community Partnerships

About this grant

This grant will continue to increase awareness among key stakeholders about innovative policies, practices, and programs that support high quality, expanded learning opportunities and strategies that integrate afterschool with education reform, particularly for older youth. Specifically, American Youth Policy Forum will conduct four forums and at least two webinars that will inform policymakers, researchers, and practitioners of the importance and role of expanded learning opportunities in creating an optimal education system for older youth. They will also continue dissemination of Learning Around the Clock: Benefits of Expanded Learning Opportunities for Older Youth, a research compendium of demonstrated expanded learning opportunities.
