Promising Practices in Afterschool Programs

About this grant

This grant will continue to support the Academy for Educational Development in its efforts to moderate and maintain the Promising Practices in Afterschool listserv. This electronic resource is designed to provide dynamic, current, and useful information to the afterschool community in a range of content areas including: news, promising practices, funding opportunities, and professional development. In addition, the grantee will use web technology to increase listserv subscribers and will use virtual learning opportunities including webinars, video clips, and live web chats conducted by content experts to share information. The grantee will also post resources on the www.afterschool.org Web site, which hosts the listserv and is supported by the Academy for Educational Development.
