About this grant

The program goal is to facilitate the exchange of information and ideas among philanthropists, social investors, and others working for social change worldwide. To this end, the Alliance Publishing Trust carries out a range of publishing activities, including publishing "Alliance", a quarterly magazine that focuses on civil society issues worldwide. Each issue of the magazine includes feature articles on key topics concerning the nonprofit sector and philanthropy, interviews with sector leaders, profiles of leading civil society organizations, and regular columns such as book reviews and regional news items. Additionally, the grantee produces eight issues of "Alliance eBulletin" each year, as well as monthly articles, interviews, and reports on its Web site. Over the past 13 years, 51 issues of "Alliance" and 67 issues of "Alliance eBulletin" have been distributed to a readership of approximately 6,000 individuals and organizations throughout the world. The grantee is based in London.
