About this grant
This grant supports the general purposes of the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers, a national network of 34 geographically organized regional associations of grantmakers that collectively represent more than 4,300 foundations, corporate giving programs, and other philanthropic organizations. With a collective budget of $34 million and 245 staff members, the grantee is the largest organized network in American philanthropy. The grantee empowers its regional association members to be the highest quality providers of services to philanthropy in their regions and uses its collective and unique assets to inform and strengthen philanthropy throughout the country. Some of the grantee’s recent activities include co-organizing the annual Foundations on the Hill event; providing educational opportunities for members (annual conference, monthly calls, topical Webinars); hosting PolicyWorks for Philanthropy, revamping its knowledge management system; and engaging in collaborative partnerships with other infrastructure organizations. During 2013-2014, the grantee will continue to enhance these activities.
