About this grant
This grant supports the general purposes of the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers, a national network of 34 geographically organized regional associations of grantmakers that collectively represent more than 5,500 participating organizations. The grantee facilitates effective philanthropy by delivering educational programming and resources, convening foundations, communicating the value of philanthropy, and sustaining and supporting regional grantmaker associations. Some of the grantee’s recent activities include co-organizing the yearly Foundations on the Hill; providing information and educational opportunities for members (annual conference, Webinars, monthly policy round-robin calls, biweekly newsletters, redesigned Web site, grantmaker education programming directory); hosting the PolicyWorks for Philanthropy project; and engaging in collaborative partnerships with other infrastructure organizations, including a data partnership with the Foundation Center. During 2015, the grantee will continue to enhance these activities.
