About this grant
The European Foundation Centre is an independent membership association of foundations and corporate funders dedicated to promoting organized philanthropy in Europe and internationally. Established in 1989 by seven of Europe’s leading foundations, the European Foundation Centre today serves a core membership of 193 members, and 350 community philanthropy initiatives, as well as an additional 50,000 organizations linked through a network of 58 information and support centers worldwide. In 2007, the European Foundation Centre will focus on consolidating its committee structure; expanding its work related to the European Union; enhancing relationships with European foundation networks and other partners; reorganizing staff responsibilities; and improving its information, communication, and technology tools.
