About this grant
Wetlands provide a variety of benefits to freshwater ecosystems, and the Wisconsin Wetlands Association is the only statewide conservation organization solely focused on protecting and restoring these important resources in Wisconsin. With previous Mott support, the association led statewide efforts to protect and restore wetlands. This grant increase will allow the organization to continue this work by providing technical assistance to a range of partners, promoting wetland protection and restoration, and conducting education and outreach programs. The association will also take steps to build its own internal capacity.
