About this grant
The Community Foundation of Euroregion Labe’s (CFEL) mission is to create an open community and improve the quality of life in Usti nad Labem and the Labe Euroregion of the Czech Republic. CFEL currently serves about 500,000 people living in the area.Multiyear funding will enable CFEL to increase the effectiveness of its grantmaking programs; build its organizational capacity by adding at least six new trustees and committee members; and establish relationships with potential donors and community leaders.Recent accomplishments included strengthening its leadership role in the community; enhancing its visibility; improving donor services by hiring a full-time staff to work with donors; and promoting the exchange of experiences and know-how on local philanthropy and community foundations.
