About this grant
This grant renewal to Aspen Institute will provide continued support for MicroTest, a grassroots effort to improve the quality of antipoverty, microenterprise development programs in the United States. MicroTest was established by and for practitioners interested in documenting and strengthening the level of performance in the domestic microenterprise field. Initiated in 1997, it has become a proven process through which practitioners define, debate, test, and refine benchmarks based on actual experience serving low-income individuals. This renewal will support MicroTest’s continuing efforts to expand its membership, build its sustainability, and enhance the value of the performance and outcomes data generated for its members, funders, and other stakeholders.
