About this grant
This grant to Aspen Institute supports the creation of a data hub by MicroTest, a grassroots effort to improve the quality of antipoverty, microenterprise development programs in the United States. This hub is expected to sustain MicroTest after Mott Foundation funding has ended. MicroTest was established by and for practitioners interested in documenting and strengthening the level of performance in the field. Initiated in 1997, it has become a proven process through which practitioners define, debate, test, and refine benchmarks based on actual experience serving low-income entrepreneurs.
