About this grant
This grant supports the active participation of people in the development of their communities and in the political processes shaping the future of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Centers for Civic Initiatives – Tuzla provides training, information resources, mentoring, and financial support to other nongovernmental organizations and community-based groups working to improve links between citizens and government and address key policy initiatives. Over the past two years, the grantee has monitored the work of local and district assemblies, organized get-out-the-vote campaigns, trained community groups and elected officials in participatory decisionmaking, and supported public awareness campaigns on reform issues. The grantee is based in Tuzla and works throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.
