About this grant

The Network of European Foundations for Innovative Cooperation works to strengthen philanthropic cooperation among foundations, associations, voluntary organizations and other non-governmental organizations in Europe. Its main focus is to serve as a launching pad for new initiatives in which major European foundations are involved.Funding will enable the network to continue pursuing various projects, including the Youth Empowerment Partnership Program, Europe in the World and Protection of Undocumented Migrant Workers; identify core policy trends and features adopted by foundations in the field of international cultural cooperation; create a charter of fundamental rights; and develop a public awareness program. In addition, the Youth Empowerment Partnership Program will be extended to Latin America.Recent activities included addressing the needs of disadvantaged youth through collaborative efforts; encouraging European funders to invest in diverse programs beyond their national borders; and creating a network of information that highlights best practices and methods to protect undocumented migrant workers.
