About this grant
The Network of European Foundations for Innovative Cooperation is an international nonprofit membership association based in Belgium. Its programs include the European Mercator Fund, which addresses current topics facing Europe; the Youth Empowerment Partnership Program, which addresses the needs of disadvantaged youth; the Protection of Undocumented Migrant Workers program, a network for information exchange; and the European HIV/AIDS Funders Group, which addresses the global HIV/AIDS pandemic and its social and economic consequences.Funding will enable the network to focus on youth empowerment and initiative; public health issues; European cultural cooperation; conflict prevention and resolution; strengthening democracy; and raising awareness about partnership arrangements between foundations, especially highlighting European experience. In addition, the network will encourage cooperation among European donors and between European and U.S. donors.
